For BBC Radio’s 1, 4 and 5 Live Haydn presented and produced hundreds of reports and features on current affairs shows like Today, You & Yours, Newsbeat and 5 Live's Drivetime and Overnight. 

He has reported on such topics as euthanasia (Holland), new educational ideas (Singapore), Triad crime and Hong Kong migration (Canada) and, the growth of soccer across America (USA).

On Radio 4 Haydn also produced and presented longer, weekly, investigative pieces. He made and voiced 28-minute documentaries for Radio 4, The World Service and National Public Radio.
