ABOUT

From climbing the Brent Spar in the North Sea to midnight drug raids in Malaysia and challenging the Canadian account of the Spanish Fish Dispute, Haydn has helped explain and uncover world stories for over 40 years.

In Antarctica he told of adventure and science, in New York the history of Baseball and in the UK reported on hundreds of protests, crimes and consumer issues. Producing, presenting, reporting, writing and commentating on national radio, TV and in print. Thousands of stories, interviews and ideas.

Haydn's career began whilst still at school, answering the phones 5 nights a week unpaid for local radio. By 16 he was making and voicing features for BBC Radio London, Derby and WM. He then produced regular items for BBC Schools Radio and World Service.  By 21 he was presenting documentaries on The World Service and reporting for the Today Programme. For years he was a weekly voice on Radio 4 before moving into television where he produced series and documentaries for global distribution.

His spin-off media products have been sold in major retailers across the UK and America. For many years he was a contributor to The Guardian, Independent and Observer newspapers. He is a member of The Writers Guild of Great Britain, Society of Authors, Directors UK and BECTU writers, producers and directors. Haydn is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and has given seminars on various subjects.
